FLEXOGRAPHY PRINTING
This is a contact process.
It is most widely used for printing of films basic parts:-
BASIC PARTS
Fountain Moll
Anilox
Plate cylinder and impression cylinder.
PRINTING UNITS AND PROCESS
1. This is a process most widely used for printing packages made from film.
2. In this flexography the image is carried on a steres, made from rubber, which encircles cylinder.
3. The rubber stereo which carries the image and is fixed to the printing cylinder.
4. The ink is fed from a duct roller which is partially immersed in an ink bath.
5. The duct roller and the anilox roller controls the amount of ink which transfer the rubber stereo.
6. Multi-colour effects may be produced by means of a several flexography units.
