Surface Plate: सर्फ़ेस टेबल Malleable cast iron से बनाई जाती है। इसमे Flatness करने के लिए इससे Machine से Scraped किया जाता है। सीधी Surface वर्कपीस को Datumsurface प्रदान करती है ओर मार्किंग के लिए Surface Plate की Accuracy बहुत अच्छी होती है। यह Floor पर कड़ी होती है इसलिए इससे Surface Plate कहते है।
Vee Block: Vee blocks usually in a couple are made of castiron or steel in case-hardening. They are generally usedfor holding circular work piece for marking out ormachining.
Angle Plate: An angle plate are used for supporting orsetting up work vertically, and are provided with holesand slots through which securing bolts can belocated. It is made of cast iron and ground to a highdegree of accuracy.
