Wire Coating Extrusion Line:
A production line for the coating of wire or cable with plastic. The conductor to be covered unwinds at the left, is preheated, passes into the crosshead die (center). The extruder is behind the die, and feeds it with molten plastic, which coats the conductor. The finished product is cooled, tested and wound up at the right.
