Recycling

Recycling: Plastic recycling is the process of recovering scrap or waste plastic and reprocessing the material into useful products.
Thermoplastics can be remitted and reused, and thermosets plastics can be ground up and used as filler, although the purity of the material tends to degrade with each reuse cycle. There are methods by which plastics can be broken back down to a feedstock state.
Recycling certain types of plastics can be unprofitable, as well. For example, polystyrene is rarely recycled because it is usually not cost effective. (PET (PETE), polyethylene terephthalate)(HDPE, high-density polyethylene)(PVC, polyvinyl chloride)(LDPE, low-density polyethylene,)(PP, polypropylene)(PS, polystyrene)(Other types of plastics (see list, below)).
